Project Description
Frank Gehry's architectural designs are renowned for their creative, flowing shapes, but these unique structures push building information modeling systems past their limits. With that in mind, Gehry took on Autodesk to create a new BIM system that would accommodate the unique designs.
Summary
Gehry put together a startup team in Los Angeles in one of his design studios. Our goal was to create a collaboration application that would show engineers data from the building management system and store necessary files for them.
I created low fidelity wireframes in Balsamiq that the team could review and we could test with users.

Higher fidelity prototypes were then built to be tested with users. The prototypes were then quickly built in code by the development team with cross-collaboration, working online together building in realtime.
The screens below show the user interface where building engineers could view, share, fix issues and store their BIM information.

I was responsible for information architecture, user experience design and visual design on this project.
